The I Feel Fantastic Saga

So there’s a youtube video of an android woman in various 80’s mum-type clothes singing a rather pretty and haunting song called ‘I Feel Fantastic’ she appears to be on a set somewhere or an attic where the windows are low. She has a blonde wig, white latex skin and looks kind of like an animated mannequin. People were freaked out and wanted to know how and why she’d came to be. Someone claimed to have found the video online and it was tracked to a man who invented her to sing on cruise ships and the like but the uncanny valley and early 2000s limitations of tech meant there were no takers. He was quite cranky after being called up repeatedly and didn’t want to have his failures thrown in his face and his privacy invaded which is normal. Internet did what it does best and made up stupid stories, like, he was a serial killer and she was wearing his victims clothes. This got as elaborate as the womans singing was powered by the final struggles of his victims that were buried alive (I know, I know) so now for most people it’s just a curio video and the man who made her is hopefully being left in peace to create as to make her in that era would take immense talent.
